Drummer Clem Burke, RIP last week.

Your editor, sloshed most every night in 1979 with a LOT of scotch, was headed that same way when this eternal classic started to blast out everywhere from the FM radios and college barroom jukeboxes.

This band (and this specific tune, although 11:59 and their cover of Denis are legit competitors) is a big part of how I instead got here in this era.
